Eric Morrisette

Eric is Vice President of Acquisitions for Central and Northeast Florida. He is responsible for land acquisitions and builder relations.

With over 20 years’ experience in acquisitions for various builders in the east coast of the US , Eric uses his experience and multitude of relationships to procure properties that are aligned with Kolter’s land acquisition strategy. Eric’s planning background facilitates the application of appropriate land uses and the complexities of the entitlement process to potential land opportunities.

Eric holds a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from Radford University, with double minors in Geology and Political Science. Eric is a certified Planner (AICP) and is an active member of both the American Planners Association and the Florida Chapter of the American Planners Association.

As Vice President of Kolter Land, Michael leads Kolter’s Land Acquisition and Development activities in SE Florida. With over 16 years of experience in the highly competitive Miami, Broward, Palm Beach, & Treasure Coast land markets, Michael has years of experience leading acquisitions and development with D.R. Horton, K. Hovnanian, ELAD National, and Penn-Florida Companies. He focuses on strategic relationships in government and with national and local builders.

Michael holds a BA in Political Science from the University of North Florida, MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a Florida Real Estate License. He served SE Florida’s homebuilding industry as President of Gold Coast Builders Association (GCBA), having won 2017 Builder of the Year, and currently serves as Life Director.

Brad Walker is the Land Development Manager for the Central Florida Division including Victoria Park & Beaumont. He creates the budgets, handles contracts, and coordinates planning, permitting, environmental reporting, construction, and subdivision completion and turnover.

Brad has been in the industry for 30 years with a strong background in irrigation, landscaping, and land development in south and central Florida. He is a past president of the Florida Irrigation Society.

He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Natural Resources, and undergraduate studies in Forestry at Michigan Technological University.

Robert joined Kolter Land as Land Development Manager in May of 2018 and is responsible for the development activities in Georgia.

Prior to joining Kolter, Robert spent over 20 years in the survey and engineering field, with projects ranging from a 50,000 ac bombing range for the Dept of Navy, to the Mercedes-Benz stadium.

Robert attended Rhema Bible College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Youth Ministry with a focus in Psychology.

David is responsible for strategic asset identification along with direct oversight of community operations in the Raleigh North Carolina market.

Prior to joining Kolter, David spent over fifteen years in acquisition, land entitlement, development and marketing in the North and South Carolina markets. He has earned both BBA and MBA degrees from Campbell University.

David is a licensed general contractor and has real estate brokerage licenses in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Paul Martin is Vice President of Land Development for Southwest Florida. Projects include Verandah, Artistry, Summerwoods, Worthington, Trevesta and Willow Walk.

Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from U.S.F, a Masters degree in Accounting and Taxation from F.G.C.U. and a Masters degree in Divinity from Luther Rice College and Seminary.

Mr. Martin has served on the board of Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida for eleven years. He is a board member for the Lucas Institute of Real Estate Development at FGCU and Habitat for Humanity.

As Vice President of Acquisitions, Troy executes the acquisition strategy for Kolter including land purchase opportunities, managing relationships with Kolter’s builder clients and other strategic partners.

Troy holds a BA and Masters degrees in Real Estate and Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida.

Troy is a member of the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Homebuilders, and serves on the Advisory Board of Tampa Bay SOREP and the Advisory Board of the University of Florida Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies.

Candice Smith serves as a Land Development Manager for projects in the central Florida market including Serenoa, Solterra & Terra Largo. She is responsible for taking projects through the permitting and development.

Candice began her career 20 years ago with an industrial developer in Naples and transitioned into residential development with national homebuilders in the Tampa and Sarasota markets. Candice holds a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies from Hodges University. She is currently licensed in Florida as a Real Estate Broker and Community Association Manager.

As a Sr. Vice President for Kolter Land, Greg is responsible for all land development operations throughout the state of Florida. Greg also assists with the due diligence and entitlements on new property acquisitions.

Greg has over 15 years of residential acquisition, entitlement and development experience in the state of Florida. Prior to that he has over 10 years of civil engineering and architectural design experience. He has a degree in architectural technology from the SUNY at Alfred.

As the President of Kolter Land, Jim is responsible for the company’s acquisition strategy as well as managing of KL investments throughout the Southeast US. Prior to joining Kolter, Jim spent over twenty years in residential acquisition, entitlement, development, sales and marketing. He earned degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of South Florida.

He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and National Association of Home Builders and serves on the Board of University of South Florida Alumni Association and Athletics Council.
